Tioga and Hammond Lake Fishing Report-
Water temps are in the  mid 60's and crappies are past the peak of the spawn.  Some fish are still moving in shore, particularly in the evenings, but off shore fishing has been more consistent. Bright sunny skies have made the mid day bite more challenging.  Expect to find fish hunkered down near structure and weed lines. Structure in 10-15 feet has been productive.  Trolling with Flicker shad, Rapala UL crankbaits, and smaller swimbaits/soft plastics is working too. Live minnows are also working.

Bass are also in various stages of the spawn and anglers are finding them in shallow in many places.  Jigs, senkos, and chatterbaits performed best for most anglers.  Topwater bite is improving here too.

Hammond Lake is officially under Panfish Enhancement Regulations.  Anglers may harvest 20 crappies measuring at least 9".   This only affects Hammond Lake.

Cowanesque Lake Fishing Report

Water temps are in the 60s and clarity has improved. Anglers have been catching bullheads, smallmouth, and some catfish at Nelson falls.  Some muskies have also been reported.  Saturday is the Tioga County Bass Anglers Kids Fishing Derby at Lawrence Recreation area.  Bring the kids out for some fishing fun!  Open to all kids 15 and under.  Registration starts at 9AM

Hills Creek Lake Fishing Report

Hills Creek has been fishing well and anglers are catching a mix of fish.  redworms are working well for sunfish, and live minnows are picking up perch, crappies, and pickerel.  Weeds are starting to thicken up and access has been tougher in a few areas.  Topwater fishing for bass and pickerel has been great with whopper ploppers, buzzbaits, and frogs working well.

Hamilton & Beechwood Lake Fishing Report

Crappies, bluegills, and bass were being caught all week with a variety of live and artificial baits.  Areas around the dam have fished best from shore.  Few trout were reported this week.

Nessmuk Lake Fishing Report

Anglers are catching lots of bluegills from the dock, as well as some perch, crappie, and bass.  nightcrawlers and redworms are working well for the bluegills.

Pine Creek Fishing Report

Pine has dropped to over a foot since last week and is starting to get on the low side.  Butter worms continue to be the favorite for live bait, and live minnows are also working.  Fly hatches have been heavy these past few nights.

There are plenty of fish in Pine Creek between state stockings and club stockings.
