Do you sell fishing licenses?
Yes! Tackle Shack is an authorized license agent with PFBC. We sell fishing licenses, venomous snake permits, and launch permits
Do you sell hunting licenses and hunting gear?
No, sorry we do not sell hunting license or hunting gear. Locally, there are a number of great shops that do. Give us a call and we're glad to recommend one that can help
Do you spool reels with fishing line?
Yes! We offer reel spooling services for fly reels, bait casting reels, and spinning reels. We can remove old line too. This can be done while you shop. If you have numerous reels, we recommend dropping them off and we'll give you a call as soon as they are finished
Do you repair rods or reels?
We can replace the tip guide of most rods, including fly rods, however we do not do any rod or reel repair otherwise.Â
Do you buy/trade used fishing equipment?
No, sorry we do not buy or trade used equipment. Â
What are your hours?
Tackle Shack is open 7 days a week. Monday- Thursday 8am-6pm . Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm
Tackle Shack is open most holidays. We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

Is the ice safe yet?
We take ice safety extremely seriously and report conditions regularly throughout the winter season. However, we must stress that no ice is 100% safe.
