Team Dennis/Osgood Take Home Win at 15th Annual Tackle Shack 3 Day 3 lake Bass Tournament

23 teams fished the 15th annual Tackle Shack 3 Day 3 Lake Open Bass Tournament, hosted by Tioga County Bass Anglers this weekend on the 3 Tioga County, PA Army Corps Lakes.

Day 1- Hammond Lake
A cold front and moved through and the bite started out tough for most anglers at Hammond.  Teams launched under foggy skies and at 2PM weigh in, 100 (86 largemouth, 14 smallmouth) bass came to the scales.  Team Miller/Brown bested the field by over 3lbs with a 6 fish limit of 16.29lbs, anchored by a 5.09 lb lunker.   Their big bag claimed the Day 1 Strike King Big Bag Bonus Prize Pack.

Day 2- Tioga Lake
Tioga Lake held true to its reputation with dozens of 1-2lb bass coming to the scales.  Though plentiful, weights are typically lower here than the other 2 lakes.  Team Buerk/Kriner weighed a nice 4.55lb bass to anchor their 11.55lb limit.  Good enough the Day 2 Strike King Big Bag Bonus prize pack and a lunker check. Team Miller/Brown weighed in 6 for 9.13lbs to maintain their lead by less than a pound.

Day 3- Cowanesque Lake
The key to cashing in the 3 day is catching fish all 3 days and Cowanesque proved to be a tough one for the majority of teams.  Team Dennis/Osgood sat in 2nd the first two days, and on the final day, they found a big limit to take home the win.  Their 18.12 lb bag consisted of 6 nice largemouth, including a 4.13, taking home the Day 3 Strike King Big Bag Bonus Prize Pack.  Team Hallett/Flynn brought 4 to the scales, including a 5.27lb bass - the biggest of the event - for the lunker check.
