Tioga County & Upper Pine Creek Fishing Report 3-31-2026

3/31/2026

We're counting down the days to trout season and it is shaping up to be another great season here in Tioga County!

Pine is running high and off color after rains last night.  Water temps are holding in the mid 40's.  Anglers have been fishing the Keystone Select stretch near Darling Run and have been doing well on a variety of spinners, jerkbaits, and flies.  Nymphs and streamers are producing best.  Small black stoneflies have been hatching sporadically.

The lakes are still very cold and anglers are catching some fish, but many noted a challenging bite.  Once temps hit the 50's fishing should improve considerably.  Hamilton and Beechwood are both open to year round trout fishing and many have done well catching trout on a variety of flies, spinners, and live bait.  Again, panfish should start cooperating better once the water warms up another 10 degrees.
