Pictured: Ansonia Bridge looking west 10/22 1:00 PM

Water Conditions- Very Clear.  Low

Cedar Run USGS Gauge- 1:30 PM - 1.28ft

Water Temp - high 40's to mid 50's

Hatches-tan caddis, October caddis, cream craneflies, midges

What's Working?

Some fish have been rising in the afternoons.  Dry dropper combos have worked well with the low water conditions. Caddis patterns trailing a small, size 16-18, nymph have been best.  Olive wooly buggers are also working well.

Other notes-

Upper Pine is very low and little rain is in sight.  Look for any deeper pockets and runs to find trout.  Surface temps have been dropping into the high 40's at night and warming throughout the day.  Afternoons have fished better with sporadic rising fish.
