If I'm fishing any of the local lakes (especially Hammond, Tioga, or Cowanesque lakes) there's a box full off Strike King 5XD's on board. Sexy Shad, Gizzard Shad, The Shizzle, TN Shad, and Natural Shad are all excellent colors in clearer water. Chartreuse Sexy Shad is my favorite for stained/off color water and black back chartreuse is a go-to in dirtier water. If you're in a lake with a perch or bluegill dominated forage base, try the Yellow Perch, Sugar Daddy, and Natural Bream colors. These are priced affordably and have a great action. If you're fishing crankbaits right, you're going to lose some and I find these to be the best bang for your buck for offshore fishing.
