Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Retail Associates. If you love fishing and enjoy helping others, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide knowledgeable advice on fishing gear, tackle, and accessories
• Assist in educational programs
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Count and care for live baits
• Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
• Assist with packing and shipping online orders
• Stay informed about the latest fishing trends and products
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards

Requirements:

• Passion for fishing and knowledge of fishing products and equipment
• Knowledge of local fisheries and waterways
• Willingness to learn new fishing skills and methods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
